From the initial contact we had with Paolo, who advised us of everything we needed to do to make our stay at Villa Primavera go smoothly, to the charming hospitality of Tina when we received a warm welcome in Villa San Pietro, including her father's pearls of wisdom about the local area, we knew we were in for an amazing holiday experience.
Most of our stay in Sardinia consisted of visiting as many of the truly subtropical beaches scattered around the close proximity of Pula and soaking up the sunshine which prevailed throughout our entire visit. On the one day which saw a refreshing change of winds and fleeting rain cloud pass over the south cost, we decided to take a trip into Sardinia's capital, Cagliari, enriching our knowledge by basking in the island's cultural and historical wealth. Such an opportunity couldn't be missed, we highly recommend it.
All in all, our total trip has far exceeded our best expectations and the comfort, hospitality and warmth which the Puddu family provided us with from beginning to end was truly fantastic. Our getaway to Sardinia has been, in a word, unforgettable.
